Is Real Estate Services a franchise or am I joining as an independent?

Real Estate Services is not a franchise. Every agent operates as an independent business owner using Real Estate Services as their platform. You're not an employee, you're not under a franchise agreement, and you're not paying for the privilege of being managed. You bring the deals. We provide the brand, the back office, the systems, and the support.
What's the actual commission split structure?

Our splits are tiered by production and range from 80 percent up to 100 percent in favour of the agent. There are no royalties, no desk fees, and no monthly franchise levies. The specific tier you qualify for is determined through the application process and confirmed on your interview call. The math is transparent and the offer is yours to keep.
What does 'Powered by Real Estate Services' mean for my brand?

You can operate under your own brand with a 'Powered by Real Estate Services' designation. You keep ownership of your brand identity. We provide the regulatory infrastructure, the back office, the portals, and the mortgage origination support. All marketing materials are approved by us to maintain compliance, but the equity in your brand stays with you.
Is Real Estate Services properly PPRA registered and compliant?

Yes. Real Estate Services is a fully PPRA-registered estate agency. Compliance, Fidelity Fund Certificates, trust account audits, and regulatory reporting are all handled by us. You operate under our agency registration. This is one of the biggest reasons agents move to us, because it removes the regulatory burden of going fully independent without giving up the income.
What does it actually cost me each month?

There are no monthly desk fees and no royalty payments. Real Estate Services earns its revenue from the agency-side share of each deal, which scales down as you produce more. There are many optional services to support you on your journey, many free and others pay-as-you-go, meaning you only pay for what you actually use. There are no minimum monthly commitments.

Is the application confidential?

Yes. Your application and any subsequent conversations are kept strictly confidential. We understand that many of our applicants are still at their current agency when they apply, and we treat that with the discretion it deserves. Your current employer or principal does not get notified at any point in the process.
What if I'm not yet PPRA registered?

Real Estate Services is built for agents who are already PPRA registered or actively pursuing registration. If you're not yet registered, we recommend completing your PPRA registration first. We're happy to point you towards the right resources, and you're welcome to reapply once you have your registration in hand.
